OVERVIEW

RISER INSPECTION AND INSTALLATION

Installation engineering shall meet the requirements of DNV OS F101. Calculation shall show that the pipeline stresses and strains are in accordance with DNV OS F101. 

All operations shall be subject to a formal safety review process.

Engineering for riser, spool and J-Tube umbilical installation shall include but not be limited of :

•      Stress analysis during load out and transportation
•      Air and submerged lifting analyses for all lifting scenarios.
•      Design of sea-fastenings, rigging, and temporary installation aids, in accordance with API-RP-2A.
•      Establishment of weight and centre of gravity of the piping and the complete lifting arrangement.
•       Comfirmation of flange bolt pre-tensions.
  
•      Spool piece alignment and tie-in including metrology and connections.

The limiting conditions (maximum seastate) shall be determined for transportation, installation conditions, offshore lifts, personnel transfers and all other construction operations.
