On ships operating there will be marine-growth (oyster, barnacle, coral) on the submerged hull of the water. The existence of marine-growth that may affect ship operations, especially for problem pace and weight of the ship. In anticipation of the growth of marine-growth, usually on the hull has been coated by anti-fouling paint/coat. But the anti-fouling coating is not a guarantee for the growth of marine-growth because it is the nature of marine-growth which itself is a living thing, where if the environmental conditions that favor, then the growth will be marine-life. Marine growth that the more certainly will interfere with the operation of the ship. Besides ships, marine growth can also be grown in submerged offshore structures, among others in the jacket leg platform, SBM, mooring chain and other subsea and offshore facilities. Marine growth should be cleaned if it already has a certain thickness which can interfere with the operation of the offshore structure.
